Would the army consider nuking a quarantine zone if the outbreak was out of control?

suppose a new and EXTREMELY deadly and contagious disease had developed into an outbreak in a metropolitan area. A quarantine had been set up, but the disease was spreading too fast. If the virus breached the quarantine, and there was a possibility that it was a potential doomsday virus, would the military consider nuking the area to purge the disease and stop the spread like in the movie "Outbreak"?
