If you've read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury...?

So, this is a book I can choose to read for high school, and I'm considering it. When I look at the summary online, it really doesn't tell me much. It's more of an editorial review than a synopsis. I don't understand what it's about, and I'm wondering if I should give it a try. I have three other book options (Maus 1, The perks of being a wallflower, & Juric Park) and I don't know if I should add this book to the list.. So, if you've read the book, what did you think of it and is it worth my time?? Thanks :)
