What should I message him?!?

Okay, So I recently sent a friend request to this perfectly handsome guy. (Still awaiting confirmation.) He went to my school for only a week, And I admired him from afar. He moved to a different school and I never talked to him. I'm only looking to maybe become internet friends with him (for now anyways:) I just don't know what to send him in the message! I was either going to send something a little bit flirty ( I thought that would be weird thought) OR something like "Hey, Do I know you from somewhere? I swear I've seen you around. What school do you go to? (I go to (scool name) HS) I promise I'm not a total creeper :)" That way it wouldn't be too creepy. Does that sound okay? What would you guys send, or how would you react to a message like that? (The second one)
