How do you deal with your boyfriend being away?

This is a different story I am sure. My boyfriend was currently sent to jail. He has a long list of things that he did when he was younger, but to make the story short, he was in violation of parole because he did not report. He has been on parole now for like 3 years. He has been incarcerated for five days now and we are not sure what is going to happen. I love him with all of my heart and we plan on getting married. I guess I am just scared because I don't know what is going to happen and I can't talk to him all the time. I can see him one day a week, behind gl for now. I guess I am just wondering how to make it by. We have our cat and I spend a lot of time with her. I don't have many friends and am just depressed to the max. My family lives about 12 hours away. It's the holiday season and it is killing me. Please help me know how to deal with this, ideas to p the time, anything that will help. I don't want any rude *** remarks like leave him, or anything. Just some helpful thoughts, insights, advice, anything.
