Does he want to be friends with benefits or was just teasing me?

Well I am 24 yr old woman and I have a very good friend who is 26 yr old guy. We are just good friends and there was no physical attraction between us since we have known each other (4 years). There was never any ual tension even when we used to hang out alone. So it was all sweet and simple friendship. Recently I had gone on a vacation and my friend asked me to send him the pics i had taken during that trip. I was talking to him on phone when I sent him the pics and our conversation was casual and friendly.Suddenly, out of the blue, he said "hey u look amazingly hot in that party dress". I took it as a compliment and said thanks. Then he said, "I feel like kissing you, ur beautiful , ur thighs. I want to kiss your neck and give u a hickey. I want to feel you." At that point I got uncomfortable and told him that I ll call him later as I didnt know how to react. This happened yesterday. Now its getting uncomfortable for me to call him again. Was he just playing around as this kind of talk had crossed the line of friendly flirting? I am confused.
